Kaboodle

Hi Mom,
I finally added a link to Kaboodle on the right side over there under LE Babe. :) Now you can go look at our wish lists without my help. :) Just do a search at their site for "granola".
Love,
Your your one and only daughter

VBS

Agent H participated in our church's VBS program this summer. The theme was "going camping". At the end of the week, our church gave each camper a CD of the music they had been singing all week. I love this! There have been times where the boys were very wound up and I have put the CD in and Agent H settled down and started to worship. It's beautiful!

A Prayer for my boys

"Lord, I pray that You would teach my child to resolve misunderstandings according to Your Word. And if any division has already begun, if an relationship is strained or severed, Lord, I pray that You will drive out the wedge of division and bring healing. I pray that there be no strain, breach, misunderstanding, arguing, fighting, or separating of ties. Give them a heart of forgiveness and reconciliation. Your Word instructs us to 'be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous' (1 Peter 3:8). Help them to live accordingly, 'endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace' (Ephesians 4:3). In Jesus' name I pray that You would instill a love and compassion in them for all family members that is strong and unending, like a cord that cannot be broken."
-The Power of A Praying Parent by Stormie Omartian

I'm weary of breaking up fights. I'm resorting to praying. Which is probably where I should have started.

Blowing xxxxxxs

Last night as LE Babe and I were rocking good-night EH poked his head in with a quick question. LE Babe was very pleased to have Papa within sight and sat up to babble with him. As EH was leaving he blew a kiss to LE Babe who surprised us both by blowing one back!

K sight words

I just came across this neat game from Craft Nectar for reviewing K sight words. It reminds me of an "already done" version of Scrabble.

The Happy Scientist

After Agent H noticed some loose change on the counter he excitedly grabbed a cloth napkin and asked for a glass and said he had something to show me. He proceeded to show me how to move a coin from under a slightly raised glass without touching it. As he proudly displayed his success in all seriousness said "now let me tell you the science behind that" and he did! Can you tell he's been watching the Robert Krampf DVD EH burned for him? If you want to see Robert himself in action you can see him do it here.

Edit: You can become a fan of R.Krampf on Facebook and keep up to date with him as he works on new experiments.

LEGO competition

Meet Lizard Boy. This is one of Agent H's most recent LEGO creations. With high hopes he has entered him into a "build a pet" LEGO competion.

LE @ 11 months

This just in . . . . . . .

LE Babe took a step into Papa's arms. He's been practicing standing up from a sitting position and free standing for a couple of weeks now so we knew it would be any time now. So far all other attempts to move forward from standing have ended in a squeel and a crash. We all look forward to cheering him on in his continued efforts and will bring you the news as it happens, or something like that.

In other LE news, four teeth have pressed their way through his gums and made an appearance. The two bottom teeth and most recently the two top teeth.

He happily waves bu-bye and even calls a variation of "Hi!" when he welcomes folks.

Upon some reminding, he will sign "more" and is figuring out "all done".

Lingering heart

Today my heart is lingering. I would guess that's it's because I spent the morning alone with my mom. We had brunch and found our way through a few shops in downtown Anoka. Moments of peace tend to help me look at life through fresh eyes rather than through the dull smudges of my old glasses.

My heart is stirred by *smooth baby legs * boyish hairy legs * berry stained faces * the curly sweaty locks on two of my babies * the sweat born of a good man laboring for his family * feet and knees stained brown by hours spent in summer fun *

And really many things that don't have names they are just the feelings and experiences of life warming my heart.
