At the Mpls Children's Museum

Izaty's was a wonderful gift to us so we used the money we had saved for vacation on a year long pass at the Children's Museum . . . we went the day after we got back from Izatys.  The General and Shortcake had never been there and I was super excited to see them love it . . . and they did SO much!

What's a vacation without a crazy family portrait? 

I'm sitting here trying to figure out where to pick up on blogging.  There are so many memories wrapped up in the pictures in my iPhoto I don't want to miss sharing any of them.

Okay here we go, I think I'm going to try to do a recap of summer before I plunge into all we have been doing this school year.  This could take a "few" posts though. :)

The General and his band-aids

The General has a strong love for band-aids.  They can "cure" anything in his eyes.  He put this one on all by himself during his rest time - I had to do a double take as he got out of rest time!

Please note I do on occasion let the kids have sugar cereal - birthday mornings are one of them!


We surprised him good this year! :)  Megablox battlescape for his love of stop animation, a Scripture Sleuth book, and an iPod Shuffle.  We do our best to make it down to papa's work to have lunch with him on the day of the kids' birthdays so this year Agent H chose the diner up the street from Ed's office.
