One of Little E's favorite things is his sock monkey PJs. This was the inspiration for the monkey themed party . . . that and the fact that Martha Stewart has a monkey birthday kit at Michaels and you can now use your 40% off coupons on MS stuff! Gotta love that! My MIL offered to do the cake which turned out amazing! The inside was just as great as it had a cream filling with bananas. YUM! Many thanks to our family who braved the -12 degree weather to come! E had a great time. There's such a difference between the 1st and the 2nd birthday - so many obvious milestones have come and gone.
